Brown hyena (Parahyaena brunnea)

Unlike its spotted cousin, the brown hyena is largely a scavenger. The Brown Hyena often feeds from Lion kills, but Lions dominate and occasionally kill Brown Hyena.

Physical Characteristics
The brown hyena measures 110–136 cm in body length, is 64–88 cm tall at the shoulder and weighs 37–55 kg, though exceptional larger individuals are known. It is smaller than the Spotted Hyena.
